Shabbat School (K-6th grade) 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings of the month, 9:30-12:30pm
Click here for the calendarStudents will be in either the Aleph classroom (K-3rd grade) or the Bet classroom (4th-6th grade.) Grades will come together for snack and for Shabbat t'filah (prayer, story, and song) at the end of each day.
Aleph students will focus on sacred Jewish time. What are the Jewish holidays that animate our year? How do they help us honor each moment, and live in right relationship with the earth?
Bet students will focus on ethics, values, and mitzvot. What makes a Jewish choice? How do we make good decisions?
Hebrew HevrutaStudents will engage in a play-based Hebrew curriculum to build reading comprehension and decoding skills, in 2-1 tutoring. Diads will be matched at the beginning of the year, and families will work with a tutor to find a time to meet.
Tot Shabbat (Birth to kindergarten) First Shabbat of the month, 11:15-12pm. Community lunch following!
Songs and games to celebrate Shabbat. Children must be accompanied by a grownup for this group led by Naomi Weintraub.
Tot Playgroup Third Shabbat of the month, 10-11:30am
